What is the difference between 2GB Livescribe pulse smartpen and 4GB Livescribe pulse smartpen ?
With 2GB Livescribe pulse smartpen you can capture over 200 hours of recorded audio (with the Medium Quality) or 32,000 pages of notes while with 4GB Livescribe pulse smartpen you can captures over 400 hours of recorded audio (with the Medium Quality) or 64,000 pages of notes. The audio recording format is AAC. The higher record quality,the larger file space storage requires. There are three types of audio quality for audio quality sound recored: High, Mediun and Low.
“HIGH” this quality setting is for very large environments such as a lecture room, concert hall.
“MEDIUM” (default setting) to return to the recommended audio quality setting.
“LOW” this quality setting is for quieter recording environments such as a small meeting room.
You can also set 3 types of the microphone sensitivity to make it fit with a specific environment.
“lecture hall” recordings for larger rooms when the sound source is far away.
“conference room” recordings for smaller areas and dictation.
“automatic” (default setting) Livescribe pulse smartpen will admicrophone will adjust microphone sensitivity automatically based on the noise level of your environment.
This quality setting and microphone sensitivity cannot change during a recording.
