Apple IPad, Can it be Kindle DX’s killer?
This is hugh ! IPad has been release in a few hour ago on apple.com, For me it is a little disappointing. It’s noting more than an upgrade version of ipod touch with the 3g and iwork compatible. Actually it is good tablet for the net book replacement and apple will made a hugh sale on this but I kind of expect more on this long kept secret dream tablet.
So, Do the released of IPad will kill the Kindle DX global wireless ? Absolutely sure ! IPad has a nine inches color screen, onscreen multitouch keyboard, music player, video player, Iwork, safari, app store which will come a millions, 3g & wireless and I believe we can use it as an e-book reader for sure through application service called “ibook” !
While the Kindle has ….. nothing – nine inches B&W screen, music player, text to speech feature (which I believe IPad can do that too), global wireless (full specification of Kindle DX here). I think the release of the IPad on this late march will destroy the Kindle’s throne ! People who is buying the Kindle DX will has a second thought (Why not, It’s so obvious isn’t it ?). The only hope for Amazon Kindle is to release their Kindle 3 as soon as possible !
