iPad: A crash between ipod and Apple computer, but what does iPad lack?
iPad might dominant all other tablet PC and all kinds of Kindle, including Kindle DX. But what are features Apple had left out in order to force customers to spend more on accessories and the next generation of iPad. Here are those iPad do not have when we compare it to a computer:
1. No a built-in camera
2.No USB ports
3.No memory card reader
4.No keyboard dock (but has a built-in key function)
5.The limitation of being unable to use multiple applications at the same time. (unlike computer)
6.Except programs from Apple’s applications and Apple’s store, I wonder that can another Operating system run through iPad?
7.No HDMI output for a TV set
8.No ability to copy, paste and record like iPhone
9.It is not widescreen. Instead of 16:9, it is the 4:3 standard.
10.Still wondering about the ability of GPS support.
11.iBooks of iPad might not be available worldwide when it launches in this March, unlike Kindle DX international Global wireless.
12.iPad is still uncertain in functions and feature, especially someone who is looking for a colorful e-books. Although it looks much more interesting, we have to make a careful decision and are not fool but its looks.
I think give a bit of time to iPad to come and see if it is perfect as it says.
