Sony has released Sony PRS-T1, a budget ebook reader to compete the new release of Kindle 4, but what is a killing feature of Sony PRS-T1 against Kindle 4, simple and easy : cheaper price and touchscreen, while the Touchscreen model of Kindle may starts at 99 USD with sponsored screen saver and home screen and if you want to get the none-commercial one, you have to pat around 189 USD as Amazon called it “top of the line ebook reader”, while with Sony PRS-T1, its price is only 114 USD without any sponsored screen to distracted you and also if you want, Sony PRS-T1 also comes with an optional physical page turning buttons in a bottom, what Sony PRS-T1 lacks to offer is 3G that works globally, (but there is no 3G on Kindle 4 as well),

One other thing about a plus side of Sony PRS-T1 is it also comes with SD card slot that allowed you to add more storage space up to 32 GB that I believe you can use it for the rest of your life ! (if you don’t want to get a color version in a future !), If you are looking for an ebook reader and don’t mind about Amazon ebook selling service that I think it is pretty convenience, I think Sony PRS-T1 is a better choice, compared to Kindle 4. It has a touchscreen keyboard for note taking, onscreen tapping dictionary, and also expandable storage space, and it just only a few bucks higher compared Kindle 4 with no sponsored screen.
