First of all, Text-To-Speech feature or Read-To-Me feature. I think that this is a function that most people don’t use. I am also the one who rarely use it with my Kindle DX Graphite and also my girlfriend who tends to spend a lot of time in bus traveling to her workplace also ignore this Kindle 3′s one of the best feature. I think that is the reason why B&N decides to cut this feature out from their 2nd generation ebook reader. But actually there is a plus side of Text To Speech feature. Disabled and elder can use this feature in order to accommodate their reading and I think disabled and elder are one of the Kindle 3′s target group. 2nd generation Nook will lose these buyers.

Second of all,  a free 3G Global wireless feature. This is one of a very convenient function. I know a lot of people who use their Kindle 3 as a quick chat gadget via Twitter while hitting the road. And also for quick email checking. I know, due to Kindle 3 keyboard it may not as good as on screen keyboard of Simple Touch Reader. But it is one of a gimmick that makes people love Kindle 3. And also with a lack of 3G on B&N reader buy rely on Wi-Fi only, Nook cuts a chance for ebook selling over their free online network. As a user, I think a free 3G is one of a essential feature that ebook reader from a major online book store should offers.

Perhaps we can expect to see a multi-touch screen e-book reader or perhaps the hybrid e-book reader like Pocket Edge or perhaps Amazon decide to go into tablet war with IPad and Android tablet ! I still don’t believe Amazon will come to join the War of this e-book reader. Kindle is one of the best selling to be the market. I don’t think they  interesting in this. if you are looking for the one best e-ink e-book reader, Kindle 3 is one of its best. Don’t hesitate to get what you want. Another book that I have read last year was called “four hour work week”.  I like this book very much. I think it is encouraged me to leave my permanent job, to leave my career and to become who I really am ! In this book you will find a new concept about the kick our self and become nomad ! From its 1.3 pounds weight (as same as IPad 2 weight) You can easily hold Acer Iconia Tab w500 with one hand. You can feel the weight and it might not much comfortable as holding Kindle DX Graphite or Kindle 3. But you can do it. As same as on IPad 2. So I don’t think weight is not an issue here.
