Normally when you purchased Kindle, it’s also included USB adaptor which you can use it as Kindle charger. Just connect your Kindle to your computer and that’s it. But If you would like to charge your Kindle by connecting with outlet you have to buy this power adaptor. Should you buy it ? If you ask me I don’t think it’ll worth the money. New Kindle 3 and also DX graphite have a very long life battery you need to charge it once/twice a month and this mean twelve/twenty five time per year. Totally not worth it ! But If you have some problem like you don’t have a computer where you are going to stay for a long time while you are in some journey or If you are going to travel to Europe, Perhaps bring this power adaptor along with your Kindle is not so bad idea.

I had pre-ordered Kindle 3 and then I changed my mind to Kindle DX graphite. So I cancelled it. and re pre-order my DX graphite. Maybe you wonder why I did that and this is my thought about my decision. When you think of buying ebook reader, I think you have to ask yourself what is your expectation for ebook reader ? Great reading experience, easy to carry. cheap or what. For me finally I think I will go for reading experience. I had watched a lot of Kindle review video both DX graphite and 3. And it’s come to me that maybe Kindle 3 is too small for me. Right now I kind of read ebook from my IPod touch which has 3.5 inch reading screen. If I buy Kindle 3, it’s mean that I have spend around 140 USD for more 2.5 inch with B&W color ! Don’t get me wrong, I think Kindle 3 is really great to be super light & slim ebook reader and also new web browser is also superb. (If I have to buy it, I will buy it in 3G WiFi you can use it for outdoor quick look internet tablet). But I think I preferred bigger screen. and also I would like to own something that rated as “premium” ;]) I think DX Graphite is way cooler than Kindle 3. It has sleeker design. And this is the DX video, you will see it’s not that bog compared with male’s hand.

Kindle DX graphite is out of stock ! The fastest shipping you can get is around 5-6 September 2010. Why Kindle DX is also in out of stock, although it has been released along before Kindle 3 ? Perhaps This question comes in mind when people going to buy new Kindle : Which one that the best Kindle the bigger, expensive one or the small, cheaper one ? And perhaps most of the people go with the bigger one ! What I want to say is, the released of Kindle 3 from Amazon is not only for sells Kindle but also get people attention about another Amazon’s ebook readers model. At first people might interest in Kindle 3 because it’s cheap but after do some research I believe some of buyer has change their mind to Graphite DX. Size does matter !

I have thinking about this for a while, How could we make sure that Kindle 3 3G or WiFi is not too small to read and Graphite Kindle DX is not too big and too heavy ! I has read Kindle from my IPod touch which has 3,5 inch screen size for a while If I order Kindle 3 3G global wireless it means that the Kindle 3 size is just twice an IPod touch which I think it’s too small. But If I cancel my order and buy Graphite Kindle DX I kind of afraid it’ll be too heavy with 0.5 kilogram. What do you think ? Could any who already own Kindle 2 and Graphite DX help me with this ? I heard that DX is for textbook reading not for carry around, what do you think ?
