After doing some research about price, screen size and PDF support, I ended up buying the Amazon Kindle DX. And it is great. It really is a good device. It doesn’t do much, but what is does, it does beautifully. Very nice.

Black Kindle DX AKA Graphite Kindle DX is not a touchscreen ebook reader, If you like the touch screen and the big reading screen. perhaps you might like to check out here : http://www.tablettweet.com/2010/08/19/no-touchscreen-on-kindle-3-how-about-sony-touch-edition/
And for Nigeria, I have check on Amazon and this message was appeared : “Unfortunately, we are currently unable to ship Kindles or offer Kindle content in Nigeria” So sorry. But I think they will released Kindle to Nigeria soon.

Two critical concerns for you to consider:
1. there may be an upgrade for DX and further price cut next months. A reader without WiFi and WebKit-based browser is a bummer to surf the internet.
2. The reading material format plays a key role in choosing Kindle 3 or DX. Most textbooks and papers are published in pdf which cannot be reflowed by Kindle such that DX is more favorable than Kindle 3 in reading those materials.

Archos can get 3g because it has a USB port, you can connect a USB stick 3g, the port replicator will give you more usb, so you could use keyboards, hard drives, etc…
