I had pre-ordered Kindle 3 and then I changed my mind to Kindle DX graphite. So I cancelled it. and re pre-order my DX graphite. Maybe you wonder why I did that and this is my thought about my decision. When you think of buying ebook reader, I think you have to ask yourself what is your expectation for ebook reader ? Great reading experience, easy to carry. cheap or what. For me finally I think I will go for reading experience. I had watched a lot of Kindle review video both DX graphite and 3. And it’s come to me that maybe Kindle 3 is too small for me. Right now I kind of read ebook from my IPod touch which has 3.5 inch reading screen. If I buy Kindle 3, it’s mean that I have spend around 140 USD for more 2.5 inch with B&W color ! Don’t get me wrong, I think Kindle 3 is really great to be super light & slim ebook reader and also new web browser is also superb. (If I have to buy it, I will buy it in 3G WiFi you can use it for outdoor quick look internet tablet). But I think I preferred bigger screen. and also I would like to own something that rated as “premium” ;]) I think DX Graphite is way cooler than Kindle 3. It has sleeker design. And this is the DX video, you will see it’s not that bog compared with male’s hand.
