ASUS Eee Pad EP121, the question is when ?

I want to try this ASUS Eee Pad EP121 and would like to know how is it different from IPad and Kindle DX. ASUS will release this ASUS Eee Pad EP121 “soon”. Maybe “soon” is not good enough because there are more and more media table to come this year in tablet war : IPad & Archos 9 which you are already seen it, HP slate which already cancelled ?, ASUS duo panel (I still wait for it), also Crunch pad, JooJoo, and what I always want to own it “Microsoft Courier” ! This tablet war is just started ! Meanwhile , watch this ASUS Eee Pad EP121 and find how is it gonna be IPad’s killer in ASUS’s mind. First of all I would like to apologize for the different size in this posting. I try to make as much link as I can to show you very useful information about this 12 color screen e-book reader. So If you like color e-reading screen with multipurpose function such as internet surfing, create some document, watching video, listening to music and you don’t mind to carry the big LCD reading with you all the time. You have three type of e-book reader that you should check out.

Internet & multimedia tablet type – I think the strength point of this multimedia tablet type is the connection and light weight. You can carry it every where you go. and Most of It have some features that allowed you to surfing the net, watch new media and do some little texting via the web like facebook or twitter. If you like this you can go with the Apple family like IPad or IPod touch or try another media tablet such as Camangi WebStation, The Viliv X70EX.

Tablet netbook type – The strong point of this type of ebook reader is it is a real computer ! So beside of ebook reader you can have a whole package of computer and I believe the price of tablet netbook and multimedia tablet is very close. Perhaps tablet netbook will be more cheap ! If you interest in this I think the top three choices of this tablet netbook is Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3t, Archos 9 (doesn’t have much good reputation) , and ASUS Eee PC Touch T91.

And the third choice waiting for the next generation tablet which will come in this year such as JooJoo, Microsoft Courier, Lenovo U1 Hybrid, and Crunchpad, and Asus Duo panel. For me I will wait for Microsoft courier maybe it will replace my Macbook air !

JooJoo, another IPad’s competitor ?

This is very interesting tablet and If you’re  looking for internet tablet and don’t interesting in change yourself into Mac’s cult, maybe this JooJoo is better choice than IPad ?

Let’s see what are JooJoo’s strengthen points over the Apple IPad. JooJoo has a 12.1 inch screen bigger than IPad which is only 9.7 inch screen, JooJoo is offered you a wide screen while IPad only offered you a letter box 4:3. and JooJoo has a camera ! while IPad doesn’t have one (you can use external camera but why we have to bother with that).

And this is what I think Apple IPad is better than JooJoo (God I hate it’s name). IPad has 10 hours battery life while JooJoo only has only 5 hours, IPad has a bigger storage (16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB – you call it) while JooJoo has only one size of 4GB storage. IPad has WIFI and 3G service which will make your life completed wirelessly while JooJoo has only WIFI. IPad has an iTunes store to make your IPad expandable while JooJoo has a limited function and program.

So in my opinion, this two tablet are very similar. In term of If you are looking for some fine tablet to watch movies, surfing internet, e-book reading, listen to your favorite music and watching your photo. I think both of them – IPad and JooJoo can completed your requirements. But if you are looking for tablet that can expandable, connected to an online store or new media word. Maybe IPad can more support your needs.

Actually, both of them already launch their pre-sale. for IPad, you can make a pre-order for this Friday – starts after midnight of Thursday. And for JooJoo, its already open for pre-order from their official website. Choose wisely !
